My first engineering position out of college was an internal role, supporting Application Engineers throughout the globe. In this role I supported cross-functional engine development projects, assisted distributors and customers in completing engine specifications prior to placing an order, communicated new and changing system requirements through Application Engineering Bulletins (AEBs), and participated in various six sigma projects. There are several great highlights from my time in this role. I became an expert at technical writing by authoring four AEBs to help provide a technical overview for several high horsepower products. In 2012, I participated in a major, company-wide six sigma project. The aim and result from the project was to produce a new company-wide AEB communication process and information formatting system.
