Michael Vigeant, Mpa, Mba Email and Phone Number
I look forward to starting my new role as the Deputy Chief of Police Operations at Quinsigamond Community College. My experience as a Captain at Worcester State University included oversight of various security and software programs that ensure the safety of the campus community, making use of a skillset in access control, CCTV, CAD, training records management, and reporting for Clery, NIBRS, and UoF. Additionally, I am passionate about collaborating and educating others. I have been involved in the instruction of student officers, resident assistants, de-escalation, and active threat situations. I have participated in several hiring committees, campus events, and professional development initiatives. Furthermore, I have a unique background as a licensed funeral director and embalmer, which has taught me how to empathize and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds through unique and difficult situations. I hold an Associate's in Mortuary Science, a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, a Master's in Public Administration, and a Master's in Business Administration. My goal is to use my knowledge and skills to serve and support colleagues and the greater good.
