My role was to carry out a feasibility study by designing a 200m vertical water pumping system. Once the system was designed, I was required to get purchase and installation quotes from suppliers and contractors. The main goal of the project was to supplement the water supply at the Three Mile Hill gold processing plant and relieve pressure on supply bores. The secondary goal was to allow access to the flooded workings so that mining could resume.
