I have a CELTA, an MA in TESOL and been an IELTS examiner. I have been teaching English at a university in Germany for over 5 years. My experience has shown me that many students have similar complaints as those above. Many language learners have a theoretical and grammatical understanding of the English language from years of studying English at school. However, what they often lack is the chance to put theory into practice. A group of us developed TalkEngO to provide language learners with a chance to do just this.
