Part-time work when I was in school and Full-time work over the school holidays. As a waiter my main role was to ensure customers received prompt service by taking accurate orders and delivering food and drinks to the table. This also included working in ‘The Royal Deeside Restaurant’ which incorporated wine service and providing customers with in-depth knowledge of the menu and speciality dishes.

As a Kitchen Porter, working evening and weekend shifts, my duties involved ensuring that equipment and dishes were cleaned properly which included items such as deep fat fryers, and kitchen worktops. Further duties included regular sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor and store areas. During quieter moments I also assisted in basic food preparation.
