I work on all levels of our polarization optics product line, from design and testing to supporting production and assembly. Helped to pioneer in-house polishing of sapphire for achromatic waveplate application. I’ve also worked with our coating department on design, development and testing of new coatings, both e-beam and sputtered, with wavelength ranges spanning the UV to the MIR. Familiar with laser damage testing and cavity ring down spectroscopy.I also have experience with lens design, CAD modeling, Python, optical metrology, and project management.Always interested in hearing about novel techniques and applications, as well as sources of optical calcite/Iceland spar.
