I am currently employed as the Engineer Supervisor for the Dona Ana County Flood Commission. I am a graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering Technology and a Masters in Business Administration. Throughout my tenure at the Flood Commission, I have gained a wide range of knowledge and experience in areas of Hydrology/Hydraulic Concepts and Modeling, Floodplain Management, Project Management, Grant Administration, Construction and Long range project planning. My 12+ years of work experience have been predominately filled with leadership roles, as the combination of technical and interpersonal skills that I have accumulated allow me to be efficient, productive, and creative with my work, while also being able to write, speak and communicate effectively with others. I am extremely driven to succeed - I put 100% effort into everything I do, all in hopes of making a difference in the community I was born and in raised in.
