About Michael Gately
My experiences include working on expert systems and neural networks at Texas Instruments' Central Research Labs in the mid 1980s. In the early 1990s I worked on radar systems as a software/systems engineer in TI's Defense Group (DSEG). I left that organization when they were bought by Raytheon (1996) and joined ScenPro. At that time, ScenPro was just 3 people. Since then I have worked on a variety of projects including casualty flow simulators, systems to predict the medical resources needed to respond to nuclear/chemical/biological attacks, and systems to assess warfighters immersed in virtual world simulators. My main strength is system engineering. I am good at moving meetings forward by capturing concepts on a white board, getting everyone in the room up to the same level of understanding, and focusing discussion on the challenges.Specialties: Systems Architecture/Design/EngineeringRequirements Engineering
