Mike is Associate and Co-Founder at Forshaw Gauld Engineers Ltd with over 20 years of industry experience. Mike began his career in Aberdeen after graduating working both on site and in design offices. In 2007 he moved to London starting work at Tall Engineers where he remained until 2015 when he moved back to his hometown of Edinburgh and opened a Scottish office. Tall later merged with Entuitive the following year. In 2021 Forshaw Gauld Engineers was conceived by Mike and Andy.Mike has worked on a broad range of projects over his career with a specialism in residential refurbishments, bespoke houses and elegant detailed design.He believes in applying his experience and extensive knowledge of structures to identify prominent details early in the design process allowing them to be addressed in as simple or as sophisticated a manner as the project budget allows.
