Facility Administrator Los Lunas Community Program
Current•Responsible for setting the strategic direction, executing strategic plans, and managing all operations of a state-operated facility serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Provide service to 69 persons. Manage a staff of over 200 persons. Maintain professional relationships with hundreds of external stakeholders•Developed a highly ranked Qualified Provider Agreement for the Developmental Disabilities Supports Division•Led multiple Health Facility Licensing and Quality Management Bureau surveys and managed corrective action plans•Led the agency through the COVID pandemic. Managed the implementation of numerous infection control processes and related response protocols•Developed and implemented a Quality Management Plan, stakeholder and staff satisfaction surveys, and revised the agency’s policies•Manage budgets in excess of $18M, exceeded revenue goals and managed expenses that provided for three consecutive years of operating in the black•Developed and implemented a Program Improvement Plan and a Direct Support Professional Recruitment and Retention Plan•Developed a variety of marketing materials including an agency brochure, promotional signs and banners, website content updates, and more•Created numerous new processes to deliver increased value to stakeholders and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all departments including Administration, Human Resources and Training, Nursing, Residential Services, Employment Services, Maintenance, Service Coordination, and Quality•Managed the 22 leased properties used for Supported Living homes and replaced half of the home inventory increasing the quality of homes and the professionalism of the relationships with lessor •Responsible for the role of Lead Tenant on the State of New Mexico Los Lunas Campus and managing maintenance and capital improvements on the 150 acre campus that includes dozens of buildings, and a cemetery•Maintain high occupancy rates of homes
