I graduated from Purdue University in 2009 from the Building Construction Management Program. Shortly there after, I moved to the Dallas area with my wife. In the years that followed I worked as a subcontractor doing polished concrete work with Questmark Flooring. I managed several jobs at once, performed safety inspections and was responsible for scheduling work with other trades and customers. In 2011 I moved from the skilled trade side of the business to a local construction supplier. I was in charge of purchasing where I managed a 24 turn inventory without a digital, scan in/scan out system. This was very hands on and required attention to detail, planning and working with project managers to make sure I knew their needs weeks and months ahead of time. I also worked outside the office supporting builders, doing field take offs and meeting with customers to generate sales. Through this position I met a custom home builder who recommended me for a position with Shaddock Homes.I started with Shaddock shortly there after and worked building spec homes and helping them start their warranty department. I played a key role in getting a warranty program up and running, trained several new hires and lead training for the builders on how to use our new warranty program. I won "Best Warranty Service" in 2015, running 46% of the companies warranty requests for the year. Additionally I built several homes during this time and was awarded for being the "Most Profitable Subdivision". I moved to a construction manager role and later that year my wife and I uprooted from Texas to move back to Cincinnati.I took a position with Ryan Homes as a Project Manager where I've remained ever since. Thus far I've managed multiple communities, continuing to improve my skill set and become more effective in my position. I am actively pushing to consistently deliver homes at our highest quality, on time and on budget.
