In working collaboratively with other health system leaders, as COO & Service Line Leader for Cardiovascular services I have full operational responsibility for the Parkview Heart Institute(PHI); an 82 bed facility with dedicated cardiac services. These areas of responsibility are aligned with the mission/vision of PHI & Parkview Health; program development, collaboration with medical staff, leadership and bedside staff to optimize the patient experience. Our teams strive to develop, nurture, sustain and continually build relationships with providers, patients and the community. Personally, I strive to influence my colleagues to align and motivate co-workers energy toward optimal care for each patient and their family. As a leader I am able to provide input and support to medical staff committees and provide leadership to assigned task forces that ensure positive, engaged medical staff; develop best practices that help our organization provide high level care to our patients, enhance and standardize our practice of patient care and evolve to meet the ever-changing climate of healthcare.

As administrator, I worked with many in our community and healthcare focused on Neurology, Neurosurgery and Rehab Medicine. Our goals are to improve the community awareness and treatment of neurological diseases and to drive our services, quality, outcomes and compassionate care to be recognized as the premier provider of patient-centered care in our region

This work included developing new strategies for care, developed new treatment modalities for critically injured patients, overseeing staffing models, physician interactions and delivering high quality, low cost care.
