  • VMware administrator responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and administration of over 900 virtual servers on 68 ESXi hosts encompassing multiple vCenter servers utilizing VMware’s HA, DRS, vMotion and Storage vMotion technologies.• Continually maintain and upgrade the internal VMware Private Cloud that has included ESX 3.5/4.0, ESXi 4.1/5.0/5.1/5.5/6.0/6.5 and their corresponding vCenter versions• Implement and administer the company BCP/DR strategy for the vSphere environments utilizing Site Recovery Manager, vSphere replication and Zerto. Perform multiple yearly Failover/Giveback tests to conform with FINRA/SEC requirements.• Manage two Cisco Unified Computing Systems (UCS) each containing two 6248 Fabric Interconnects, two Cisco 5108 Chassis, sixteen B200M4 blades zoned to 8GB Brocade and 16GB Cisco MDS Fiber Channel switches over a 10GB switched Ethernet network connected to a Dell Compellent and PureStorage SAN for the HilltopSecurities vSphere environment.• Manage HP DL380 G8 rack mount servers with two dual port 10GB NICs as iSCSI HBAs utilizing the vCenter iSCSI software adapter and virtual Distributed Switch (vDS) on a 10GB iSCSI switched Ethernet network connected to a Dell Compellent and Netapp SAN for the First Southwest Company vSphere environment. • Manage HP DL380 G9 rack mount servers with two dual port 10GB NICs and two dual port 16GB Fiber Channel nics zoned to 16GB Cisco MDS Fiber Channel switches connected to a PureStorage SAN for the Southwest Securities vSphere environment.• SAN administrator for hundreds of Terabytes of data hosted on Pure Storage x50 all flash arrays, Dell Compellent SC8000 arrays and Netapp FAS3240 arrays. • Regularly worked with external and internal auditors to ensure our systems adhere to current SOX/FINRA/SEC regulations. • Support other Line of Business vSphere environments as part of a multi company merger to consolidate systems.
