Provide financial leadership, direction, and management to a 35+ year old medical device sales organization, including during some of the company’s most transformative events. Helped guide the company through a challenging pandemic environment where we saw elective surgeries go down to zero. Assisted in navigating the change in control from prior ownership to current ownership, including negotiating terms to ensure a smooth transition. Most recently, played an integral role in the company’s expansion from $80M+ in sales to $150M+ in sales through the acquisition of a sales geography that nearly doubled the organizations geographical footprint.In addition to the above key milestones during my tenure at MSA, I spent over six of those years serving in a dual capacity as the COO. Within that role, I helped foster an environment of constant and continuous improvement. That included the management of nearly all company process from HR, IT, Logistics, and Financial Planning. At that time, it included oversight of processes that supplied over 16,000 surgical cases across three states annually and the inventory management of over 100,000 medical devices and instruments.

Summary:Currently accountable for the accounting operations of the bank, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of the bank’s system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the bank's reported financial results, and assist in reporting results that comply with generally accepted accounting principles, as well as state and federal banking regulations.• Management: Manages Accounting Department staff. Supervises accounting functions for the financial institution. Assists in development of the financial institution’s accounting procedures to be in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Maintains the bank’s system of accounting policies and procedures. Assists in the oversight of outsourced functions. Oversees the accounting operations of the bank, especially its control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures. Makes recommendations to the CFO and President to improve financial institution cost control and accounting functions, if necessary.• Transactions: Oversees the accounts payable function so that payments are made in a timely manner and that reasonable discounts have been taken when available. Supervise all reconciliations of general ledger control accounts and ensure that reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner. Maintains an orderly accounting filing system. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.• Reporting: Coordinate efforts of staff and others in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and regulatory filings. • Compliance: Assist in providing information to external and internal auditors for their periodic reviews. Assist in the coordination of the provision of information to the regulators of the bank during their examinations. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
