Recruited by private equity investor to oversee the start up and growth of a high complexity laboratory. Successfully built the business from pre-licensure stage to cash flow positive with complete repayment of equity investors within 18 months. The business was transitioned to a healthcare industry veteran at the end of 2016 and sold to a private equity group at the end of 2017. The position involved all hiring of technical lab personnel, method development, validation and licensure with CLIA and COLA. Set up Accounting, Operations, Risk Management, and Human Resource departments from the ground up. Directly set up accounting systems and interfaces with third party billing vendors. Analyzed and managed implementation of Laboratory Information Management System and all related information technology. Directly managed cash flow and repayment of equity investor while balancing capital expenditure needs. Designed and implemented all reporting for management and equity investors.

Directly involved with every aspect of finance and operations for this commercial staffing provider. Upon growing the business from $12M in revenue to $80M+ in revenue, the company was successfully sold to the management group and is still operating today. At the time of my exit, the company was paying approximately 4000 temporary workers weekly with an internal staff of 200 employees. I was responsible for the following departments: Accounting, Banking and Credit, Safety and Risk Management, Human Resources/Payroll and Information Technology. In addition to hiring personnel and establishing policies and procedures within these department, I also managed the external team of Accountants, Attorneys, Bankers, and Insurance Professionals required to run the business.

Successfully launched and built the temporary staffing division for a headhunting firm specializing in skilled trades and engineering placements. Involved in every aspect of the business from start up through the successful merger with Priority Business Services in 2003. Responsibilties included: Customer acquisition, candidate recruitment and placement, staff recruitment and training, accounting system set up and management, computer and information systems set up and management, risk management, human resources and payroll, tax planning, credit facilities, legal, and banking. Under my leadership the company grew from $500k in 1993 to $12M in revenue in 2003.
