Also developed an automated stress lab environment that enabled bulk call completion runs and call feature testing resulting in a high degree of customer confidence.• Senior liaison between internal development teams and all customers resulting in the successful deployment and launch of products, capabilities, and subsequent network upgrades.

Project Manager (Echostar Data Networks)Responsible for bringing the inaugural DISH Network satellite IP based data content distribution system, DISHLink, to market. • Managed seven engineers and three technicians that resulted in bringing the DISHLink to a family of five products.• Served as liaison to other business groups within Echostar to include all internal project status reviews, external customer demonstrations, and industry trade shows.• Developed and deployed the DISHLink product into a variety of customer IT networks, which helped to realize its goal of being able to extend the reach of DISH Network content to the desktop. Senior Sales System Engineer (Media4)Responsible for the integration of equipment into customer sites and the generation and delivery of technical proposals, technical descriptions, and product user guides.• Integrated, tested, and delivered Media4 MediaStream Network equipment into the Echostar DISH Network that enabled the distribution of an IP based electronic file delivery service.• Lead system engineer working with third party hardware and software vendors to define, integrate, test, and evaluate end to end solutions for delivery of an end solution to a diverse customer base. • Proposed and completed the Asymmetrical Digital Satellite Terminal system that was successfully delivered to the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization in 1999.

Proposed solutions to identified SBIR announcements that resulted in awards of $1.2M in 1997.• Developed proposal and secured contract award for a new business area and led a Phase I and II SBIR project entitled “Expendable Video Data Link” (EVDL) that was successfully received by the Department of the Navy. • Defined and developed key EVDL components including the wavelet video compression/decompression, turbo-code FEC, modem, TDMA frequency hopping spread spectrum protocol, and the microstrip conformal antenna array components.
