As the Director of the Public Safety & Security Department of Emanuel Medical Center, I direct and manage all public safety and security functions for all EMC facilities. I serve as the principal advisor to the the Executive Administrative Team for all matter related to Safety and Security of employees, patients and guests. I am responsible for ensuring all contract deliverables are met and maintain compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and provide overall leadership and direction to over 25 Safety & Security Professionals and 3 Shift Supervisors.

Plan, schedule, coordinates, and presents training, generally already developed, for MSO 1, retraining & client specified skills. Report to District Manager.1.Develops schedules that address all levels of training required by contract, and by AlliedBarton standards, and prepares a monthly/quarterly calendar to schedule these support training activities with account managers in the field.2.Presents the Master Security Officer Level 1 basic orientation class, re-training subjects, specialized training sessions for security officers, (Driver & Bike), Healthcare Operations, Defensive Tactics, Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention, FA/CPR/AED, and Practical Supervision Workshops.3.Advises executives, clients, Account Managers and Site Supervisors in the implementation of training policies, procedures and processes.4.Maintains a structured review and reporting system to monitor basic account management functions related to OJT, re-training, specialized training, supervisor qualifications and account audits.5.Provides information briefings and training sessions in response to client or account manager requests.6.Reviews, inputs and coordinates input of OJT into performance tracking.7. Inventory, order and distribute MSO manuals, exams, awards and gifts.9.Coordinate and present, then inputs any state required training information in Win Team.10.Coordinate and present any national contract required training.10.Supports recruiting activities within the district and completes the hiring process when required or assigned.11.Obtain and maintain instructor certification in CPR/First Aid, AED, etc., as assigned or required.12.Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or yearly objectives as set by District Manager or Division/Regional Training Manager.13.Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.14.Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.

Asst. Account Manager: Serving as the Senior Principle advisor to the hospital administration, A.M. and District Management, I oversaw the overal account security operations, manage 504 hours per week of contracted coverage of over 16 safety & security personnel. Responsible for scheduling, recruiting, hiring, discipline, coaching, employee retention, training, staff deployment, program development, and policy and procedure development. District Safety Officer: Chair the Sacramento District Safety Committee, responsible for scheduling monthly committee meeting, conducting individual site/account safety audits, tracking safety incidents/accidents. Conduct accident investigations to determine the root cause's of each accident. Develop and maintain an in-depth safety training program.
