Key Objective was to grow the book while building robust controls, process and procedures for the Asset Finance Business. Core responsibilities covered;• Deal on-boarding, in-life customer services and operational reporting, with periodic oversight for business change, collections and project management.• Operational efficiency and structure; putting the right people into key management and SME roles.• Balanced business objectives to support delivery of growth targets resulting in the business’s first £2m volume day, while developing a fit for purpose operating foundation.• Nurturing business culture and team mentality through building feedback and communication forums, employee recognition and talent development.• Created and embedded Customer Services and KYC teams to deliver focused performance for customers during on-boarding and in-life.

Responsibilities from 2016-17 focused on managing the programme to wind down the GE Capital UK business and bank and leading the Operations strategy for the GE Business Finance wind down. I lead the execution of the Operations workstream to sell the GE Commercial Distribution Finance EMEA business to Wells Fargo. I was appointed as Site Leader for the GE Capital Reigate office leading staff engagement, with oversight to policy compliance and employee safety.In 2012, my role (including the responsibilities documented in the role below) was expanded to lead the build, control and on-going oversight of the Treasury Back Office function to support the liquidity management requirements of GE Capital Bank Ltd. This required leveraging market expertise and connecting with GE Capital Banks in other countries to deliver within the deadlines set. The set-up was considered "satisfactory" by an internal audit review.During this period I also delivered the following;-Lead successful cost reduction initiatives to save annualised costs of £70k with no material performance impact.-Lead Operations workstream of outsourcing Secured Sub-Participation structure generating $1.5m annualised income.-Lead and influenced at senior levels to ensure SEPA was implemented for CDF EMEA by the regulatory deadline set.-Led a team restructuring to upskill capability to match Treasury Back Office requirements.-Facilitated several process improvement workshops that generated over 50 ideas resulting in time savings, process efficiency and some cost saving.-Implemented a UK wide Business Continuity Management framework

My role was expanded to take ownership and accountability of Operations function for Commercial Distribution Finance EMEA (CDF, an Inventory Finance business). This responsibility included Documentation, Booking & Funding, Cash & Payment Processing for customers across EMEA in a centralised UK based team and oversight of an outsourced supplier Genpact with 11 team members.My key achievements during this period were;-Accountable for delivering on over 70 Operations key performance targets with an 86% success rate monthly.-Integrated payment processing and bank account management for CDF & Business Finance into a centralised team.-Successfully delivered on outsourcing of quality control activities, creating capacity internally for less than $10k per annum spend.-Led and project managed an office move for 61 people generating $600k cost saving
