About Michael Goodwin

I have significant experience in the delivery of sustaining and capital maintenance programmes across a number of sectors. Originally serving an engineering cadetship in manufacturing, I have spent the last five years at food processing sites including poultry and pork. I have gained a significant body of experience in the FMCG, food processing, heavy industrial, metals, mining and hydrocarbon sectors in diverse roles.I can demonstrate my experience in the preparation of annual budgets for maintenance, brownfield project management, planning, scheduling, commissioning, program stewardship, construction management and team leadership across numerous sectors. I have undertaken high level consulting engagements in the provision of technical advice to Government programs and in the preparation of technical due diligence reports for buyer and seller in the metals and energy sectors. I have travelled extensively during my career working at numerous remote sites and at multi sites. I have a practical approach that is well supported by my strong technical ability. This work required extensive travel and I have reviewed over 20 global facilities when preparing the technical description and competent persons report for the client. I have also led due diligence assignments where I investigated a wider business brief including the entities social license to operate, equality and opportunity for staff, safety and environmental compliance.I have experience in the commercialisation of technology and have led several technical studies or gap analysis of technology concepts.
