Collaborates with management staff to implement standard preventative maintenance procedures and schedules. Responsible for budgetary and capitol project development. Coordinates cost reduction opportunities with corporate engineering staff.Responsible transitioning Holy Family Medical Center to electronic record keeping for all life safety documents. Coordinated efforts between corporate and medical center staff in the completion of the $4.3M F-wing project.Currently in development of a new Environment of Care Committee. Saint Francis Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 616 bed medical center located in Peoria, Illinois. A part of the OSF Healthcare System.Manager – Facility Operations Reporting to Director of Plant Operations was responsible for 1.2 million square feet of the main campus. Managed 7 different buildings with a support staff of 13 employees, support staff from skilled trades department and miscellaneous vendors. Worked closely with various clinical staff to ensure environments were safely maintained. Electronics JourneymanReporting to the Group Leader of the electronics maintenance department, provided installation, service and testing of various life safety systems within the districts 170 different facilities.Assisted in developing and implementing the districts new process of testing and documentation for electronic fire alarm systems.Encouraged all members of the department seek NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering. This certification has since become mandatory since implementation.Worked closely with school administrators to ensure maintenance activities did not disrupt the classroom setting.
