Responsible for the profitable growth within an individual branch's coatings market through inside and outside selling as well as account management of current clientele. The branch manager creates a detailed annual business plan, encompassing strategies for revenue growth, increasing profitability, inventory management, staff development and expense management. New and existing sales opportunities are monitored and pursued daily through both inside and outside sales calls with growth strategies in place for each account. Markets serviced include the architectural, protective and marine, decorative concrete and chemical coatings markets. In addition to profitable business growth, responsibilities include: inventory management, staff recruiting/development, HR problem resolution, annual performance appraisals for all staff members, supervision of operations manager, deliver drivers, sales associates and product specialists.
