I serve the Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) as our Associate Director of Research Development. I am a professional program manager, research administrator, and scientist with experience building and leading cross-functional teams that span commercial/ industrial, US-government, and academic sectors.The scope of the projects and programs I have supported and led ranges from basic science, chemical-analysis, in vitro diagnostic devices, and cancer research to AI/ ML-driven digital twin technologies, and teleoperated and autonomous robotics. My roles have been that of administrative lead, Principal Investigator, and faculty support. While at the University of Utah, I have overseen and supported several cancer-focused grants and worked closely with researchers from the Huntsman Cancer Institute, the Nano Institute of Utah, and departments of Psychiatry, Surgery, and Chemical Engineering.
