About Michael Grasley

Motivated by the art of the possible, I passionately believe all problems are solvable. But sometimes the first step in solving a large problem - generating the idea or vision that will act as the framework on which to build the solution - is the hardest. My mission in life is to help people develop those ideas that will solve their toughest problems. With a breadth of experience gained over 30+ years in the manufacturing operations technology space, I have a keen appreciation of the interconnected nature of manufacturing operations and the value of a digital capabilities that span and integrate the full supply chain with manufacturing operations. As a Systems Design engineer by inclination and by training, I see technology as just one tool in the toolkit. The purpose of technology is to help companies achieve their objectives, and in order to ensure the right technology is deployed the right way, a top-down approach is needed. Business objectives drive business strategies. In order to execute on those business strategies, certain operational capabilities are needed. Those operational capabilities are provided with a combination of people, processes, and technology; a three-legged stool that must be balanced. My career’s work has been to help manufacturers find that balance.
