About Michael Gray

I am a biomedical engineer currently working at Astellas Pharma on expanding stem cells in large scale bio reactors for use in animal and phase 1 trials. I have a strong technical background, getting my BS in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech, and working at the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute of Florida on vaccine adjuvants. I then received my Masters from Northeastern University in Biomedical Nanotechnology while working at a lab focused on nanotechnology and drug delivery. I then studied for a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences while working at a lab focusing on microfluidic devices pre-covid. THen, I joined Astellas Pharma as a contractor, then a Senior Research Associate, and now as a Principal Research Associate helping propel science innovation forward and following their motto of tackling new challenges and creating innovative pharmaceutical products.
