I am responsible for training the Collections Curriculum for Starling Bank. This is across Retail and SME. I have supported new starters in their roles when they leave the classroom and start taking and making live calls with customers who have fallen behind in payments on the products the company offer. After a year of this I have moved more into the class room role. This involves training out materials such as Introduction to Finance, Vulnerable Customers, Income & Expenditure and Regulators.

I am currently a Review Case Handler for Lloyds Banking Group's PPI complaints. My role involves gathering evidence from company systems and the customer to reach a fair outcome of the customer's PPI complaint. This role requires an empathetic, committed and organised person. In my time at Lloyds I have worked in various parts of the PPI complaint stages which all require the same high quality and attention to detail as my current position. These other roles have involved Redress for the Commercial side of Lloyds Bank, which often involved considerable sums of money, making calculations for redress on the Asset Finance sector as well as reviewing cases on behalf of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

I was first point of contact for existing and new customers to our Savings and Mortgage Direct bank. I am fully trained on both savings and mortgages where I carry out deposits/withdrawals, open/close savings accounts, make payments to mortgages and update customers' details in an award winning contact centre

Often working alone, I would run the 74 bedroom hotel between the hours of 10pm and 7am. As well as the checking in and out of guests I would run the daily audit which would close down one day's session and start the next day's. I would ensure the cash and card payments equaled what was registered on the system and make amendments and fix it if they didn't. Whilst also attending to any guests' needs, I would ensure the hotel lobby and reception area were clean and tidy to a high standard.
