Whilst working as a member of the front of house staff in a busy gastropub my main responsibility was to deliver a high standard of customer service. To do this I would complete regular online training so that I would be up to date on all the background information for items on both our food and drinks menu. Through this I was able to make recommendations to customers by using my knowledge to produce an answer to there queries, allowing me to build a good rapport with customers. Another of my responsibilities was to manage the bar stock whilst the pub was open. This involved doing a regular stock check on each fridge through out a shift and restocking each appropriately. I would often have to re-prioritise my work in order to to complete this task as items would run out in a spontaneous fashion.

Over the summer of 2017, i was involved in various hospitality rolls for HAP recruitment involving bar work, stock checking and as a waiter. Working within a large team of people has helped to improve my communication skills and provided me with good insight as to how a large company works.

Working as a member of the bar team at Rock Salt cafe involved working as a team to provide excellent customer service. It's also where i was in charge of stock which put my knowledge of Microsoft excel to the test.

I was the manager of a sports center for the Manchester respect league the roll involved organizing weekly coaching sessions, leading a team of 8 other coaches and safe guarding children. Through this role i am a now much more confident, have improved organizational skills and i have experience leading a team.
