Current• Lead investigations and troubleshooting for equipment and process related issues, providing product/process impact assessments, appropriate root cause analysis and effective CAPA implementation. • Support the shift engineering teams with routine technical support and troubleshooting.• Budget management - forecast and control of Repair & Maintenance and Spares spend along with setting up and managing vendor service level agreements (SLAs).• Manage and oversee the spare parts and obsolescence program.• Identify and manage equipment training requirements for all the engineering teams.• As a SME represent the Technical Operations Engineering team during regulatory inspections. Ensure the engineering team and areas are always in an audit ready state.• Represent Engineering for all OPU safety and compliance audits.• Support the consistent application of maintenance systems, manage the maintenance standards and execution priorities, always staying safe and compliant.• Use Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) and the Digital Operations Centre (DOC) to drive success in the Safety, Quality, Supply, Finance and People metrics. • As IMEx element owner of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), champion and develop the Operator Care, Work Management and Reliability programs.• Identify safety initiatives, process & equipment improvements, energy saving projects and develop these into Continuous Improvement (CI) projects. • Develop and maintain productive collaboration onsite with all departments and off-site relations with global engineering. Identify equipment and process improvement projects for the Core Engineering Unit to support the OPUs.• Ensure all equipment installed is safe, compliant with industry standards and provide engineering and equipment qualification support.
