Working on an EOI filling the role of Oncology Information System Analyst, working closely with Nepean Cancer & Wellness Centre supporting their Oncology electronic medical record system and clinic flow management system.

Following a split in IT Services between Western Sydney LHD and Nepean Blue Mountains LHD, Nepean Blue Mountains established its own ICT Department and I successfully applied for the equivalent role.

Initially employed by Sydney West Area Health Services and transitioned to Western Sydney Local Health District shortly thereafter, in my role I provided Desktop Support for the staff of hospitals within the Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health Districts.Through both face-to-face and remote support, have strived to maintain a high standard of customer support and care with resolution of technical problems. Have also had the opportunity to help implement numerous IT projects in both specific clinical settings and projects that affect the entire organisation.

During my period as a contractor at Health Support Services, I was successful in officially joining Health Support Services in a Temporary Full Time position.

Through Greythorn IT Recruitment, I was contracted to Health Support Services to provide Level 1 Service Desk Support at the new site of the State Wide Service Desk at Cumberland Hospital in Parramatta. I was part of the team supporting Sydney West Area Health Service, and our responsibilities included triaging calls, troubleshooting issues, handling escalations, identifying Critical Incidents, maintaining accurate records in Service Desk tickets and user account management.

As part of a small Help Desk team, I provided support for over 170 Rebel Sport, Amart All Sports and Glue stores nationwide as well as internal support for the Head Office at Silverwater where I was based. With no local onsite support for retail stores, one of the challenges of the role was being able to implement IT projects remotely (be it hardware or software) but I was still able to effectively communicate with customers remotely to guide them through hardware implementation. Gained some interesting insights as to how a large retailer functions at a Head Office level.

Worked as a Junior Consultant for a company that provided technology services and consultancy to numerous large companies and government organisations. I was exposed to a variety of technologies - attaining Novell and Microsoft technical certifications - as well as gaining valuable experience working in a variety of government and large corporate environments.

IT traineeship facilitated by the Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Parramatta. Over the course of two years, I attained Certificate III Network Administration and Certificate IV Network Management qualifications whilst also providing desktop support and general IT advice to several schools within the Parramatta Diocese.
