I have worked at Washington State Bank since 2011 as Executive Vice President. I originate a quickly growing portfolio of commercial, personal, residential and agricultural loans. Prior to my current job I was at Allied/Nationwide Insurance for 9 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility. Some of my roles were Product Manager in the Des Moines Regional Office. I was responsible for personal lines products in the states of IL and VA.Prior to my role in product management I was in product development for almost 4 years and was responsible for developing Nationwide's property insurance products. I also have 5 years of compliance and management experience at Nationwide. Prior to joining Nationwide I worked with a real estate appraiser. While working at Nationwide I obtained my Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting Designation and my Master's in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
