Valuation, acquisition, workout and disposal of distressed residential loans and owned real estate within a nationwide footprint.• Led underwriting, model creation and due diligence for acquisitions ranging from a $12M note secured by residential lots to a $1.7B portfolio of defaulted loans and REO in partnership with the FDIC• Developed and implemented strategies to stabilize, maximize the value of and profitably dispose of in excess of $270M of assets

• Designed complex valuation and cash flow models for M&A opportunities (valued over $2B of assets).• Advised on distressed M&A opportunities including FDIC portfolio sales of failed bank “legacy” debt (PPIP), 363 sales and AD&C note purchases.• Led financial analysis of a $96 million joint venture of a failed land bank.• Provided executive management with competitive analyses of the operations and earnings of competitors.

Trained and developed a project management team to oversee daily operations, allowing me to focus on division growth, including acquisitions and due-diligence review of land purchase agreements.• Conducted due-diligence review of contracted land parcels, including thorough evaluation of all business conditions: market strength; cash flow; approval time frames and costs; conditions of approval; site improvement costs; legal, environmental, and contractual obligations. • Responsible for land acquisition efforts, including identifying parcels, reviewing zoning restrictions, analyzing market conditions, optimizing product mix, isolating potential investment risks and authoring purchase offers.
