CurrentI’ve been in the construction industry since the 90’s and have been the sole principal of Gress’ Inc. since 1999. Within the first fifteen years of the company’s inception we had completed more than one thousand projects ranging from $1,000.00 to $800,000 in cost and all within 100 miles of Raleigh, NC. These projects varied from simple landscape installations to a large, semi-public amenities renovation which included the demolition of an existing swimming pool, structural retaining walls, and tennis courts which were replaced with multiple new swimming pools, retaining walls, transition stairs and ramps, and new pool house. We built Sears Farm Road Park a 15 acre park in Cary, NC consisting of all hardscapes and soft scape for the entire project. We've built rooftop pools on the 11th floor of a Charlotte high rise and also in a 3rd floor courtyard, above a Harris Teeter grocery store which serves as the foundation of a condominium complex in the North Hills area of Raleigh. Our swimming pool projects consist of standard concrete pools that one might consider basic or “traditional”, to infinity edge pools, slot overflow pools, and natural designs which are chlorine residual free and self-cleaning for minimal maintenance utilizing the newest technologies to reduce operating costs to nearly negligible levels. Outdoor kitchens, fire features, and other outdoor recreational considerations are all worked in to the design from the beginning regardless of whether the customer’s budget allows installation of these during the initial phase of construction to insure future viability and deign continuity. I personally manage every project over 10,000.00 with a very hands on approach, overseeing every stage of the construction process. Additionally, I share the responsibility for much of the design work so my attention to detail is consistent from conception to completion, with an awareness of what the finished project should look like from the very start.
