Responsible for leadership to product centric departments to ensure objectives of safety, cost, quality, inventory, schedule compliance and team development are met. Provide direction to Production Supervisors, Technical Support Team as well as, prioritizing department activities to maximize performance on a daily basis. Facilitate weekly department operations meetings and plant operations meetings in the absence of Plant Operation Manager. Makes priority decisions for department, drives improvements to process capability and process variation in department. Coordinates capital planning process for department with Engineering and Finance Departments. Ensures project activities are on track communicates and reports department progress to plant staff quarterly. Represents the department in supply consensus meetings and participates in customer visits, FDA Audits and external/internal audits by customers. Coordinates with multiple function teams and systems to promote organizational effectiveness through innovations, equipment redesign, process control and change management efforts.

Responsible for making priority decisions for department, drives improvements in 20 Keys and 5’s activities and coordinates capital planning process for department.  Responsible and accountable for daily decisions which have a significant impact on product cost, productivity and department budgets for Conical Transfer and staffing for incoming products to Treyburn (Flask).Responsible for the long term development of four production supervisors in which two are new to the role. Interfaced and coordinated plans with Engineering, Quality and Planning to recover volume and increase run rates after moving to Conical Operations in April of 2012. Recovered run rates and volume in 3 months after taking over role.Worked in conjunction with the Continuous Improvement team for driving improvements in 5’s activities in TC and Conical Operations to drive cleanliness and organization. Set a due direction for the future of manufacturing operation in Treyburn.Involved in capital planning, execution and training for the installation of several new pieces of equipment to create long term business gains. In FY12, the department introduced several new pieces of technology such as the 50ml PC, Multivac for Plate Operations and Multiwell Membrane equipment for Cell Inserts.Reviewed, approved and executed all process validation protocols for all products within TC and Conical Operations.Personally worked each month with Finance Leads to understand and correct any discrepancy involving volume and order variance within the departments.Responsible for the manufacturing of the four Class 2 products in Treyburn facility.

Responsible for the supervision and direction of hourly employees in completing process for sterile vaccines within an aseptic manufacturing area. Also responsible for training, conflict resolution and the administration of personnel policies specified by the local agreement. Responsible for the adherence to cGMPs, approved process steps, SOPs, quality procedures, safety and environmental standards while operating within the profit plan.

Principal assistant to the battalion commander on all personnel matters pertaining to 438 soldiers. Responsible for personnel management, moral support, and health services. Exercise staff supervision of the battalion personnel administration center, postal operations, unit status report preparation, command and staff preparation, legal functions and dental statistics. Additional duties include: rear detachment commander, awards program, unit funds, duty rosters, family care plans, weight control program, drug and alcohol program, and family readiness group coordinator. As the principal assistant to the S-3 Plans Officer coordinated and supervised the execution of battalion and battery field training exercises. Coordinated both internal and external resources in support of training to include ammunition forecasting, airland operations, and daily training requirements.
