Responsible for the administration of Quality Assurance initiatives including the Functional Check Flight Program (FCF), Dropped Object Prevention Program (DOPP), and the Maintenance Standardization and Evaluation Program (MSEP). Direct the work of 6 assigned Quality Assurance Inspectors. Advise the Maintenance Group Commander on quality assurance issues. Identify negative trends in maintenance practices and apply corrective procedures. Ensure compliance with all applicable maintenance and safety regulations. Work with first line supervisors to standardize aircraft ground handling and maintenance procedures. Monitor Time Compliance Technical Orders, One-Time Inspections, Product Quality Deficiency Reports, and Aircraft Structural Integrity Program to ensure required maintenance actions and administrative timelines are met. Monitor environmental compliance, including the Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Compliance Assessment Management Program (ESOHCAMP), Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT), and Hazards Communication (HAZCOM) programs. Ensure prompt and accurate reporting of inspection results to Commanders and National Guard Bureau. Monitor the Management Internal Control Toolkit (MICT), track deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are applied. Interface with Operations Group leadership to facilitate accomplishment of joint objectives and programs. Other duties as assigned.

Kulis Air National Guard Base, Alaska

Maintain mission ready status as an HC-130 instructor pilot. Additional duties included Scheduler, Current Operations, Flight Safety Officer, Tactics Officer, and Wing Military Deception Officer. Maintain all mission qualifications and responsibilities of this position through all subsequent assignments. Command Pilot with more than 4,500 flight hours in the HC-130. Credited with more than 120 lives saved. (Includes C-130 RTU and HC-130 CIQ)
