In February 2022 the point-of-care diagnostics specialist EUROLyser was sold to Antech Diagnostics, part of Mars Veterinary Health. My position changed from CEO and co-owner to CEO of Eurolyser handling the post acquisition activities. EUROLyser now is contributing ANTECH to make a better world for pets due to its global footprint, unique products and the expertise of its R&D and management teams.”

EUROLyser is a diagnostics company based in Salzburg (Austria). It develops engineering and design of Point-of-Care Testing (‘PoCT’) devices as well as test kits sold primarily in Germany,Europe and USA. The products are based on a patented technology and design enabling a multitude of clinical chemistry tests to be developed. EUROLyser‘s patented cartridge technology is based on the use of the same gold standard reagents that are used in large laboratories. As a result, customers are able to obtain the same level of quality in test results as they could expect from large laboratories.EUROLyser markets its products to physicians' offices. It also develops OEM partnerships to expand its portfolio into new therapeutic areas such as Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.Beside the Point of Care business, Eurolyser has significant growth in supporting veterinary laboratories with novel diagnostic reagents. Since 2019 those activities increased EUROLyser’s profits more than two-fold, boosting average annual sales growth to more than 25%.In February 2022 Eurolyser was sold to Antech Diagnostics, a MARS Inc company.

Founder, Owner and Managing Director.Eurolab has developed the market for Haematology Analyser manufacturer ABX/Horiba from 1996-2000.During the same periode, Eurolab was the distributor for SCIL Animal Care, a German based health care provider for the veterinary market. In early 2000 Eurolab switched from ABX to Nihon Kohden, a leading Japanese Haematology Analyser manufacturer and built up the Austrian distribution for Nihon Kohden. In 2000 Eurolab has sold its blood gas analysis business to ROCHE-Austria. EUROLab furthermore has grown the point of care business for Eurolyser since 2005 and became one of the market leaders in this segment in Austria. In 2019 Eurolab was sold to ArchiMed (www.archimed.group). ArchiMed is a leading investment firm focused exclusively on healthcare industries.
