As superintendent, Michael was the representative at the job site. He directed and coordinated the activities of all sub-contractors and was responsible for making sure that the work progressed according to schedule, that the material and equipment were delivered to the site on time, walking with the owners, scheduling inspections, performing safety checks and that the activities of the various workers do not interfere with one another. Michael supervised all these activities by communicating with and directing the foremen/superintendents for the different craft workers and subcontractors. It was also Michael’s responsibility to keep accurate records of job costs, time, materials, equipment, and work progress throughout the duration of the job.QualificationsMichael has 12 years of construction experience on projects in the industrial, civil, commercial, Higher Education, Medical, and residential markets. Most recently, Mike works for Lee Building Company as a project superintendent.One of Michael’s accomplishments includes his work as the Project Superintendent for the UVA 5A HVAC replacement.
