Michael Gundy was educated in Toronto and studied Industrial Design at the Art Centre College of Design in California.Michael worked in production and design capacities for Perkins Engines Limited of Peterborough, England. He then started in the investment industry as a retail salesman with Wood Gundy Inc. in 1976. Michael joined Caldwell Securities Limited in 1980 becoming a Vice President and Director having been involved in sales, research and investment management. Subsequently in 1990, he assisted Deacon BZW Limited in the packaging of financings.In 1991, Michael established Gundy Inc, which provides strategic enterprise development services to small and medium-sized firms as well as consortium management and project finance. He serves on the board of Urbana Corporation, a TSX Exchange listed closed-end investment company focusing on a portfolio of public and private stock exchange assets. Caldwell Investment Management Ltd, a fund management company with a family of mutual funds. Prior board memberships include Energy Fuels Resources Corporation, a Colorado-based uranium exploration company and Renascent Fellowship, a charity operating three rehabilitation facilities for those recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
