As a member of the Appeal Board, I am working with the Charity and fellow Appeal Board Members to support a multi-million-pound appeal to build a new school and college for some of the country's most profoundly disabled children and young people with complex communication difficulties.

Supporting the Growth Company ambition to supporting the economic, personal and professional development of the business community in which they operate. The Advisory Board members objectives are to support the Executive team of the Growth Company in their objectives, and share their expertise.

Responsible for ensuring seamless support for SME clients across the Business including Business Banking, Corporate Banking and Barclaycard. Key to ensuring all parts of the organisation are aligned - both inside and outside the Ring Fenced Bank to providing the necessary client support.

Tasked with the creation of a Specialist Team at the creation of the Ring Fenced Bank (Barclays UK) to support specialist client segments. The Coverage led teams eventually included national teams in - Real Estate, Agriculture, High Growth & Entrepreneurs, Healthcare, Business Development (including Broker & Formation Agents activity); and specialist Pension, PSP/MSB and Insolvency team. Additionally the Specialist Client Solutions team was built out to cover customer’s Trade, FX and Sustainability requirements.The Eagle Lab team provided support for the emerging entrepreneurs, through the provision of physical space (co-working) as well as expertise and mentoring via formal programmes. Successes during the role included:- 3 new strategic partnership with SME Fintechs including strategic investments;- Successful tender for HM Government Digital Growth Grant through the Eagle Labs;- Launch of a successful national Entrepreneurs Award though the High Growth Team;- Launch of key SME Sustainability support of both Colleagues and Customers and partnership with key partner - Carbon 13;- Establishment of new teams to support emerging client and business issues - including Healthcare team, Franchise team, Strategic Growth team and Business Improvement team (Governance)In addition took on the responsibility for the Business Banking Growth agenda, as well as Strategic Partnerships/Opportunities. Overall team size nearly 500 FTE, and Coverage business teams under direct leadership were responsible for the majority of long term debt origination.Membership of the Senior Leadership Team of Business Banking, as well as a Steward for Barclays UK. Chaired numerous internal forums, as well as standing member of key Governance forums. Lead on the Sustainability agenda for Business Banking with the roll out of new products and expertise across key client segments.

Non Executive Director on the Board of Propel. Propel is a leading independent supplier of Asset Finance and has been recognised as one of the fastest growing Asset Finance Companies (Ranked as the fastest growing asset finance company in the UK for two consecutive years - AF50 UK 2023). Propel has growth by 56% in 2022 and over 300% since 2020.

Corporate Banking Coverage Leadership across the North West Region with responsibility for for the Mid Corporate, Large Corporate and Key Account teams. Also responsible for ensuring that the Commercial Banking teams were integrated.Responsible therefore for all Banking teams and customers from £400k in turnover to the very largest Regional PLC. Appointed as Senior Relationship Sponsor for some of the largest clients in the region, and member of the Corporate Banking Coverage Leadership team.

Joint Co-Head for the North of England Corporate Bank teams including Mid Corporate, Large Corporate and Key Accounts.

Corporate Director - North East & Yorkshire with responsibility for the Corporate Banking activity across Yorkshire, Humberside, Northumberland and Cumbria. Led on a number of key industry groupings as well as spearheading the Business Development focus.

Lead Banker for the TMT and PLC sector in the Barclays Scotland office. Also responsible for leading on the multi-national relationships in the region. Successfully completed some significant MBO transactions and PLC acquisitions.
