As a passionate leader, I enjoy inspiring others to realize their full potential while collaborating with them to provide solutions.For 14 years, I was a transformative leader at SoundExchange developing their customer services infrastructure and inspiring industry-leading technology to meet the needs of a rapidly growing customer base (650K+ creators), data-set (45+ million sound recordings), and amount of royalties collected and distributed ($10+ billion). Being responsible for the satisfaction of SoundExchange’s diverse spectrum of customers, I developed relationships with performers, producers, talent managers, record labels, distributors, business managers, CMOs, neighboring rights agents, and law firms across the industry; as demonstrated by my inclusion in the Leadership Music Class of 2023.My passion for promoting music and supporting its creators has been lifelong. In the early/mid-2000s, I was a pioneer in the music blogging space as a contributor and co-founder of several successful lifestyle outlets. I was also one half of “Re:sonance DJs”, a well-known multi-genre DJ duo in the Washington D.C. market for a decade. I am an avid fan of live music attending over 100 performances a year across genres both mainstream and underground. That special moment when the sound, lights, performers, and audience achieve perfect synergy is one of life’s greatest gifts.
