Michael Hailu holds a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle and a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. Michael’s professional career passion is to create a legible connection between the architectural built environment and the natural systems through the artful design of space and infrastructure. His wide range of experience encompasses the planning and design of urban waterfront parks and ecological restoration works, campus public spaces, educational facilities, mixed-use, affordable housing, civic buildings and high-rise towers. Michael’s design principle is to balance the art and science of architecture and landscape architecture to create environmentally intelligent design that can bring people closer to the natural world in a healthy and enjoyable ways.
