Establishing operations in Brazil - from vacant site to plant in full operation. End-to-end responsibility for all the activities of the establishment of a new high technology plant and organization with +500 employees in Brazil.Roles / Results- Construction of a new flexible pipe plant in Brazil with a budget of 300 MUSD. I lead the full project from first design to fully operational production site, successfully completing the complicated green field project under extreme and challenging conditions in Brazil.- Bidding and contract negotiations for civil construction and main production line packages with both local and international suppliers and obtaining the construction and operation license process with the local authorities.- Established an organization with +500 employees and ensuring important technology and knowledge transfer from the Danish operation.- Supported business development in Brazil.- Multi-cultural stakeholder management, contributing to the successful integration of the new organization and new ownership and company culture.

I was leading an organization with +300 blue collars working at five shifts and +70 white collars.Roles / Results- Improved production efficiency by 25% by use of lean tools and cross-functional leadership.- Successfully managed a 40% expansion of the plant and extensive investments in different assets within time and budget of 450 MDKK.- Constructive co-operation with unions. With a balance of no-nonsense attitude, the ability to listen, having an open and trustworthy communication I managed to establish a very constructive atmosphere with unions. - Successful organizational transformation. I played a key role in the growth and transformation of the organisation to become more professional without losing our original entrepreneurial spirit.
