As a contract software developer at GSK, I was a key team member on the third phase of the ELT project. I was previously a team member on phase one of ELT in 2007. During my time at GSK I delivered features that reduced certain user operations from 8 hours to 30 minutes. I am also proud of the performance improvements we made to the home page of ELT reducing the load time from 15 seconds to under 3 seconds.

I worked as part of a 5 man team on an XP project using ASP.NET, TDD, and OOD.

Initially I helped to develop a linux based vpn solution that required custom linux installation and familiarity with C. Later I took on the responsibility of our automated build process. I was responsible for making sure the build machine ran smoothly and that it notified developers when new builds occured. Running the build machine required me to understand how Java, C, C++, Ant, Ruby, Anthill, vxWorks, Windows, ClearCase and our network interacted, so that I could debug problems with our automated process.
