After spending several years in the military working in the uk and overseas as a physical training instructor, I helped develop teamwork leadership and physical fitness. On leaving the military I went on to complete a national diploma in sports and recreation learning the specifics of fitness trainjng and sports development alongside coaching many mainstream sports.With a passion for the outdoors I currently hold CWA, SPA, MLS and BCU level 1 coach awards as well as REC Outdoor first aid and full D1+E drivers licenceOver the years I have worked at several youth centres leading climbing, team building and sports and activities developing young people's self esteem, confidence, communication and teamwork. During this time I have ran a several of my own projects including developing climbing clubs and competitions and several residential programmes including several outward bound expeditions and armed forces competitions.I currently own peakexperience.co.uk and work as a freelance outdoor educator working with disaffected and disengaged young people in the north west area.
