Responsible for the development and management of all Pre-Construction activities within Douglas OHI. Functional responsibilities include Business Development, Estimation, Planning and Design Management.A member of the senior management team with responsibilities including strategic direction and forward look-ahead management of revenue, resources and profit.

Responsible for all pre-construction activities for the Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western regions reporting directly to the Group Operations Manager.My responsibilities include strengthening our client and consultant contacts for targeted work streams, manage high value bids from inception through to submission and project award, when successful and prepare reports for monthly management meetings.

Working within the estimating function I was responsible for the bid management of strategic, large value and design and build tenders and PQQ submissions. Projects ranged in value between US$ 10m through to US$ 250m and in sectors including hospitality, education, retail, commercial and residential.My responsibilities included customer relationship management for upcoming or on-going bids, chairing bid strategy and design team meetings, managing the different bid functions in order to compile a winning bid and submission of a commercially, technically and visually comprehensive bid document.

Responsible for the delivery of design and build tenders, reporting directly to the Area Estimator. Projects included health schemes via ProCure21, long term framework agreements, educational and commercial facilities.
