In 2018, I received my Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, an AACSB accredited school. Prior to this accomplishment, I graduated magna cum laude from Southern Polytechnic State University with a bachelors in New Media Arts. This degree requires an extensive appreciation and understanding of the fine arts, carrying those principles over to graphic design, digital photography, videography, and web development. As a new media artist and MBA, I utilize different forms of media to express concepts and promote business growth.I am currently employed as the Operations Manager of Wahoo Docks and the Marketing Director at both Wahoo Docks & Meeco Sullivan, where both of my degrees are being fully utilized.In 2014, the entrepreneur in me co-founded Maker Motorsports. Our company is dedicated to providing high quality DIY products to Volvo owners; the custom designed parts are 3D printed for mass production. In the first year, our company went international with sales to nine countries in four different continents.When I do find spare time, most of it is consumed by turning wrenches, making custom car parts, and capturing footage for an instructional automotive video series. My screen name, MyNameIdeasWereTaken, has gained international recognition for both my unique projects and photography. Though my passion for cars has turned into a bit of an obsession, my videos and blog have led to small profit and the fan following has been very rewarding.
