Off-shore application of motor assemblies and rotary steerable assemblies in 3D extended reach wells. Gyro orientation, cement plug and open hole sidetrack.

Co-ordination of SSD M/LWD offshore operations. Personnel, and equipment movements. Liasing with operator for improved SQ with regard to all areas of job execution. Personnel training, and future advancement objectives.

Lead engineer of SSD “Positive Pulse Telemetry System”. Majority of exposure in this time frame to directional only equipment, additional directional tools ( Single Shot and Multi-Shot), drill string dynamics and gamma ray as the sole formation evaluation tool.

Continuous monitoring of well parameters, during drilling and other non-drilling activities: tripping, cementing, casing and logging for example. Monitoring of gas levels and displacements, for any irregularities. Management of real-time data recorded during the course of the well. Carrying out preventative maintenance on surface sensors. Collection, analysis, and description of sample drill cuttings. The final production of “mudlogs” at the end of drilling, for customer review.
