Designer and assistant to a project manager at MBAJ's Shelby, NC office. Managed small projects and renovations on my own and assisted on larger projects with an appointed project manager. I provided design expertise for proposals and marketing, as well with projects in schematic design and design development, and saw projects through all phases of development until they were owner occupied. Work encompasses university and community college projects, K-12 schools, and government work.

Architectural intern during my final years of college part time from January 2006 until August of 2006. After graduating, I took a full time position as an architectural intern working on a range of projects consisting of churches, K-12 schools, university and community college work, and civic projects such as libraries. My responsibilities included putting together presentations, along with computer and Photoshop renderings to assist in the visualization of the firm's design intent. Other duties included pre-schematic, schematic, and design development for projects, and assisting with construction documents on projects in that phase.
