Lead Minister | Board Member | Executive Leadership Development & Strategy EnthusiastI am a disciple, husband, father, passionate leader, and self-proclaimed nerd with a deep commitment to fostering renewal in and through the Uniting Church of Australia. As the Lead Minister of the Newlife Family of Churches, I work to see lives transformed through the gospel of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit, championing a vision of growth and discipleship within our community.With a background in both education and ministry, I bring a unique blend of academic insight and practical leadership experience to my roles. I hold a dual degree in Arts and Education (History and Religion) from the University of Queensland, and after teaching at All Saints Anglican School, I stepped into full-time ministry at Newlife. Furthering my leadership capacity, I earned a Diploma in Ministry Leadership and a Master of Ministry from the Adelaide College of Divinity, where my thesis focused on the role of discipleship in the western Church.In addition to my pastoral responsibilities, I serve on nationwide boards, advising on strategy, leadership development, and organizational change. I’m particularly passionate about helping leaders grow, empowering teams, and driving strategic initiatives that align with long-term vision and mission.Beyond ministry, I’m blessed to share life with my wife Sarah and our three children, Archer, Banner and Bonnie.
