I am a self driven graduate who has interest in everything that has to do with Civil Engineering thus my ability proves that I have passion for construction. After completing my N6 certificate in Civil Engineering, I got a 3 year Apprenticeship opportunity offered by Motheo Academy to help me obtain both the Red Seal certificate and National N Diploma.Motheo Academy is in a joint venture with WBHO ensuring that their apprentices get well-trained to produce competent Artisans and Technicians. Over the past 2 years I have served as an Assistant Construction Supervisor on the South African Reserve Bank project in Pretoria valued at approximately 2 billion rand. My role has encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, from overseeing wet works and concrete operations to co-ordinating the subcontractors and ensuring that all construction work within my area of responsibility is managed and executed in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Construction Regulations and other relevant Regulations.
