CurrentKey responsibilities include identification and evaluation of attractive investments and partnering opportunities in the U.S. and Canada for the Eppendorf Innovation Company (EpIC) which is a new department of Eppendorf SE. EpIC serves as Eppendorf’s interface to innovative startups and other novel technology centers. Further duties extend to building up EpIC’s external network within the region’s life science ecosystem and making contributions to EpIC’s business-investment strategy. EpIC’s scope includes areas such as instrumentation automation, innovative approaches to sample preparation for multi-omics, life science tools to support cell and gene therapy (CGT) processing upstream or downstream of stirred bioreactor scaling and digital solutions for improving laboratory processes.
