It is my privilege to serve as Vice President, Advancement for LINK Unlimited Scholars, a vital community nonprofit that supports Black students in Chicago and works to close critical opportunity gaps in our education system. Through a proven fellowship and mentorship model, we provide our Scholars with with the resources they need for success as they advance to, through, and beyond college. Particular expertise includes campaign direction, project management, strategic planning, events, membership giving, volunteer management, marketing, and messaging. Other specialties include writing, editing, presentation, public speaking, prospect engagement and gift solicitation, research and policy analysis, teaching and training, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, financial statements, contract negotiation, and records management.I have an M.S. from DePaul University's School of Public Service, with a concentration in Policy. I am proud to have served as President of the Board of Directors of Rape Victim Advocates (now Resilience), and I have previously served on the boards of the Ravenswood Community Council and the Chicago Farmers, as well as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church.
